Snap in adapter not working?? iPhone 4 media.

Hope someone can help me. When I plug it in and turn on radio I get nothing tells me no device found. I get it to charge the phone but that's it. Nothing else.

Same for me with my '11 e70. I can tell its amping the antenna though because I can see it gain two bars shortly after I plug it in.

I'm hoping that it will work properly when I get my '12 e71 that has bmwapps.

Same here my signal goes up 2 bars. And charges but that's it. I have a 2012 build with 6nr connected drive apps. Everything works with my USB. Just not with the media adapter.

That's the correct one? Does BMW apps work with the USB cable?

Yes everything works perfect with the USb.

The phone snaps in and charges and I see the antenna sign go up like 2 bars, but that's it.

Wonder if I cow
D have a broken unit? But I assume then it wouldn't charge either.

When u go to CD, do you see the 2nd option highlighted? Do you see anything when u go to plugin?

Nope. And when I click on plugin it says no plugin compatible device connected.

I tried a friends iPhone 4 and nothing on his either. Just the charge.

Maybe you have a bad cradle then, try to exchange it with a new one

Got a new media adapter. And it's working great! Guess the first was a defect.

Yes, the layout is nice. I like being able to have my iPhone plugged and secured in the cradle and still be able to plug in a iPod in the USB.
