I'm not so sure on who's at fault here. Typically, the left lane should have the right-of-way, so the BMW should have yielded to the bus. Also, it appeared that the right lane ended as the left lane continued straight, so it should also be the responsibility of the driver who's lane ends to yield. Obviously the bus didn't need to accelerate when the BMW tried to get over, but he shouldn't have been in that position to begin with.

BMW driver is clearly the jerk here.

I understand nobody wants to drive behind a slow moving bus but damn dude, relax a bit.

Awful BMW driver. He or she is 100% at fault here. After driving like an absolute moron he/she then throws a tantrum by brake checking a vehicle that's several tons heavier.

BMW driver should had given coach space. Let the coach go.

But if someone mess with you or cut you off badly or gives you finger, then stop the car in front by slamming on brakes and make them suffer. Worse, beat his a**.

Teach a lesson

Both arseholes, but in my experience on my daily commute in the UK, coach drivers are utter wankers. When they're not cutting you up and throwing stones up at you, they're hovering beside you or tailgating, or speeding dangerously, or just being general pricks. I'm sure there's some decent ones out there but I've not seen a good UK one, the good ones are always German, Polish, basically somewhere other than the UK.

Both of them are idiots, especially if the coach driver had passengers.

BMW douche is at fault, but the coach driver should have just let it go and let the douche have his way. It's called driving defensively.

^This, the BMW driver has the more maneuverable car and hesitated. Either hit the gas and clear the coach or hit the brakes. One or the other and they would’ve avoided any type of confrontation.

Fault transitions from one to the other.
1st. The coach driver is at fault for encroaching. (But BMW should have accelerated away at that point.)
2nd. BMW driver is at fault for stupidly hazardous driving.

I'm not gonna lie, I've brake checked a lorry or 200 but that's a passenger transport and he could have killed 40 people.

Agreed this is a case of both drivers showing dangerous combative tendencies - both risk accident to defend or assert their position (to save what, 15 seconds of the commute?). Technically the car is needing to give right of way, even if he doesn't want to, but the bus speeding up is a dick move too. Car should know better - accelerating past would not be an option, but not in this case. I think you are missing that the car taking the video is just in front of the bus bumper, blocking the BMW into that position (and looks like the vid-car is also up against traffic, so not really their being a dick).

I've paid 10's of 1000's of $$£ on a car with all the BMW options

* Park anywhere lights
* Brake Check Lights
* BMW only parking zones
* BMW only driving lanes

and not forgetting the best of all

* The "Not letting anyone pass you and when they do you speed up" Sensors

What's the point of owning this wonderful machine

I ask you !

1 series dumbass, normally 3 series driver are good for this.

Two things to mention:

- The front driving cam car had slowed down at the end of the "BMW extra strip" and so the 1 wasnt be able to speed up and come on time in front of the bus, that was unnecessary...but he was able to check his brakes

- After overtaking the bus and make him stop by force...man, I had hit him really hard into the back as I were the bus driver, that'll teach him.

Hey some of us skipped the tech package b/c we love to manually handle our 'speeding up to stop passing' - personally I would not want to lose this close connection to the driving, but I can see where having it automated can be a time saver, especially in rush hour traffic. I think this should be the next poll, to replace that tired old AT vs. MT debate .

If I was on that bus, and I spilled my drink because the bus driver had to slam on his brakes because the poor man in the 1-series did that, imagine everyone getting out and "seeing about" the BMW driver.
