original wheels' color?

I bought a used 2014 X6 with 20" Y-Spoke Alloy Wheels (Style 214).
The color of the wheels are silver. However, I use my fingernail to scrape off the paint and it revealed a black base color! I was surprised. I thought those were alloy wheels...

Does anyone know how i can find out the original color of the wheels?

If you look on the inside of the wheel it is usually stamped on one of the spokes it will give the color code. Should say A44, A80, 144, B55 or whatever the code is. Will also have another separate stamped number giving you the offset (ET) and style code. Hope this helps.
