X5 e70 2013 Not blowing cold air.
Hello,
Today morning on my way to work the AC was super cold and funtioning perfectly. 20 minutes later it started blowing very hot air while the car was running. I took it to electric he said my ac compressor in not firing up and that there is NO fuse for it and that I have to change it. Any thoughts or help please |

There is a fuse, if it's not located back with the rest then it's probably is the super secret fuse box under the passenger side dash that is a pain in the ass to get to. I doubt it's a fuse, E70s, Well N63s anyway, don't know about other engines, love to snap their ac belts. Did you verify the belt is intact?

Here is a video about the fuse box locations. You can see that the super secret one was a "oh crap, we forgot something guys" moment cause DAMN if that is not the ugliest location for a fuse box I have ever seen...

In the X5 Photo/Video/Audio Gallery, I have a thread, Pg4, you'll find a dashcam DIY that shows you how to access the front fusebox. It's not that bad, but certainly could have been easier.
