2007 E70 4.8 Valve Cover

Ok so I notice a few drips of oil on the garage floor so I looked under the E70 and all in the engine bay....it's perfectly dry everywhere except for the back LH side of the valve cover....so now the plan is to replace the gasket....so I've watched a few you-tube videos but none of the x5....so my question is has anyone here replaced the LH gasket and if so on a scale of 1-10 how much of a pain in the a** is it to do....main complaint I've read is getting the cover out of the tight space....
thanks for any info on this subject
