You should be fine. I am running a et 20 offset up front on a 22 x 9.0. I have a slight rubbing on the vents with a 265/35/22 but only in reverse and almost full lock

Oh.....check the center bore on the wheels. The 7 series have a 72.56 bore, while the X5 has 74 depending on the model (X5M, X6M etc)

Yea I'm also worried about that too.. I may have to drill out the bores alittle. Not sure if hubcentric rings will help

E70 will have a 74.1mm hub bore, which is larger than the bore on basically every other BMW except the E39 M5. Hubcentric rings won't help in this scenario (they help with the opposite problem.)

H&R sells adapters that will allow you to run the smaller bore wheels on the E70. A full set is around $275-$300. I just ordered some for myself from Achtuning last week. With low offset wheels you'd probably want the narrower adapter (15mm) if my math is correct.

Here is som pictures of mine.
The wheels are 10X20 et23.

Theese are rears from 5 series E60.

This settup is as fluch as you can get it in the front. And then you can calculate your way down, if your wheels are smaler.

Wow I like the look of that stance with those e60 wheels. How did you get the centers to work? Adapters? Yea I'm getting my hubs machined to 74.1
