X5M with OEM painted mudflaps and Eisennman Race Exhaust

This is my 2011 X5M with OEM painted mudflaps, with 15 mm wheel spacers, and AA Tune with a Eisennman Race Exhuast. Hope this will help most of you guys decide if the mudflap option works for you. Excuse the quality of picture done from a Iphone during sunset.

Got my X5M last November. When I get a chance I post videos with this truck racing down a runway with 4 guys in it against a GT500 mustang with a rolling start.

Looks great IMO. Just bought a new 35i M Sport (Carbon Black) and had the mudflaps put on because I wanted to diminish the well known stone chipping ahead of the rear wheels. Didn't have them painted like you did (a very wise choice btw) and they're not the most beautiful option available from Freightliner...oops sorry...BMW...but they're functional. Again, yours look great painted in MC Blue and your spacers sure as hell make a big difference from a side-view perspective.

I had my friend who own's a shop in Brooklyn do the paint job. If you going to do the same make sure you try to leave the mudflaps unpainted on the inside .

Hello, just picked up a set of X5 mudflaps for my 2013 50i M sport trim from my local BMW dealer. Went to a referred paint shop and they said that certain material is not paintable. They said the material is too rubbery like and the paint will come off. Just curious, what kind/brand of mudflaps did you purchase and from where? I need to find some that are paintable. Appreciate any info.

Thanks!

Mud flaps look amazing. Hopefully will help the rear quarters from getting all banged up.

BMW should of done something like this from the beginning or install rock guard to the area like they do on the 911 and other higher sports card. They definitely had To see this was an issue.

Shame on them for not protecting it for the buyer.

I may do this come spring time! Got a whole space grey theme going on and was thinking about painting the rocker panels and may do the mud flaps in the space grey
