Need new spark plugs

So I need new spark plugs, but heard getting 1 step colder is recommended, since I'm going to be running the racechip RS tune, with a BMS intake. Future mods include downpipe and reinforced chargepipe.

What kind of spark plugs will give me the best performance with the tune? and ignition coils?

2013 x5 xdrive35i e70 w/ Racechip RS and BMS intake.

It's not about performance. It's about longevity.

Copper < Platinum < Iridium < Ruthenium. My vote is the Iridium as the best middle road in price and performance.

Yes one step colder, also a tightening of the gap a bit more than factory recommended spec.

will 2 step colder spark plugs be bad for my car/engine if i revert back to stock? or should I stick with OEM spark plugs for my racechipped n55? I heard oem's can blow up easily with racechip/piggyback tuned engines.

You can buy OEM N20 spark for your S63 engine. Don't ask me why. Just trust

I have the n55 engine. I was thinking abou the 2 step colders found here: https://burgertuning.com/products/ng...-plug%20%20%20

Will these be bad on a stock motor with no tune in the event i decide to remove my racechip tune?

That's what I'm running in my Stage 2 X5M with the S63 - gapped to 0.020". Not sure whether you need that in the N55. Gap of the plug is related to boost. Lots of boost can blow out the spark. I'm right around 21psi peak with the tune I have.

I have mine gapped at 0.020 as well with the ESS tune.

If the tune is removed, would that cause any problems with plugs that are gapped that way and 2 steps colder?
