2010 X6 35i
Its actually my wife's daily driver now that we are expecting our first lil one. Wanted a safe car but something sporty, We test drove the 50i and it was a f'in beast but 12mpg was unacceptable to the mrs so I got her the 35i. I am coming from a 335i and so far I don't miss it at all, its not as torquey but its way more comfortable and it is quite the headturner. Makes me think when its time for my new car it may be the 50i or the M just bc of that piano black interior! B;ack Sapphire, black perforated nevada, aluminum trim, tech, premium package, premium sound, active seats, HUD, rear climate.

Enough utility
Congrats on your new 3.5i..
Do you feel there is enough cargo area behind the 2nd row for atleast a weekend getaway or carting around more than 2 pieces of luggage? My wife and I are very close to closing a deal on either the 3.5i or 5.0i.. we don't have kids...but definitely one of the reasons for buying this instead of the new 5er or getting another 335i... is more utility space... I even went to the trouble of measuring the cargo area.. I don't know where BMW is coming up with 25 cubic feet... the dimensions are actually slightly smaller than the x5 (useable cargo area).. yet it's official cargo area is 21 cubic feet.. |
