2010 X6 5.0 Best Price

I am trying to order X6 5.0.. they said they can sell it at invoice pricing but I was wondering if anyone got a better price??

If I finance through BMW FS then I can get an additional $2500 off(Holiday Cash Promotion)

Any thoughts would be great.

that sounds like an awesome deal I got mine for invoice + $800 and that included the cost of them shipping it to me in TX from NJ.

For the ///M you get boned. An additional 2 year + 50,000 miles warranty is close to $5,500 and you dont get any kind of discount. The $2500 holiday discount only applies to the 35i & 50i.

i think it is just BMW knowing what sells no matter what the price is... the X6 for 2 years know is the only car BMWFS does not extend special interest rates to. ( they did once for 4 weeks unannounced)

Doesn't look like I'll be able to get near invoice here..

Which dealerships will sell for near invoice?

I'm getting ready to purchase an X6 in 2-3 mos..

Thanks

Yes, Good Deals Are Available

I just checked with several dealers about an x6 I'm thinking of buying..

I can special order it the way I want it...

and get an x6 3.5i for $1600 over invoice plus the $2500 incentive.. much better than my local dealer here in Arkansas..

The dealer will let that offer stand thru the rest of the year..

There is no reason to pay over invoice. I don't care what they tell you. You should look at other dealerships outside of your area. They will ship the car to you and most will even pay for shipping. No dealership is doing enough business to lose yours because your not willing to pay more than invoice. You should be paying invoice minus the 2500 incentive.

watch your money factor if you lease

Be careful you don't get boned like I sorta did....

I got over 4000 off sticker but found out my money factor was high.

I found this out from a post here that referenced the current & past BMW FS money factor & lease residuals.

http://www.ridewithg.com/index.php/2...november-2009/

Also below is a great lease rate caculator & instructional website for leases & their inner workings

http://www.leaseguide.com/calc.htm

Dealers jack the money rate up on a lease to make up for what they give you up front, it cost me I figure $75 extra a month, because of my ignorance.

They are allowed to go .0004 over the current BMW rates plus an extra .00015 if you don't do a security deposit like me. So they stuck me with the extra .00055 on the money factor.

I did get them to refund the difference of the new deal $2500 off & last months rates/amounts. They are refunding me 17.99/mo x 36 months

You see the rates on the money factors went for November with this deal, so even though this month you get the $2500 off, it is not near as much as what it looks on paper, because they tack on a standard higher money factor rate (it went up from .00175 - .0022).

Just make sure you get all the numbers :Net cap cost, money factor, residual locked in and then it's easy.

Looks like I learned the hard way, but I'll never make the same mistake again.

Good deal

I don't seee how a dealer will be able to sell (not lease) below invoice..

Mine has an invoice of about $64500 (confirmed with KBB website).. minus the $2500 incentive = $62500 then they tack on about $1600.. yeah maybe I can get them to lower that a little but no matter what if I order before the end of the year I'm gettting a brand new, custom ordered X6 (not off the lot) for about $900+ less than usual wholesale cost.... over $7K less than retail.... I've never been able to get anywhere near this good of a deal on a brand new BMW before..

Dealers in my area aren't willing to take more than about a thousand off the MSRP of the 50i. Other than calling other dealers around the country, there doesn't seem to be any way of determining who's giving any more of a discount. Edmunds TMV number may be an approximate guide of this.

For either of the X6 models, it appears they are selling well so dealers don't need to do much in the way of discounting. The two local dealers in my area have either none or just one in stock.

Thats because the X6 50i is a little more unique and the market is smaller, hence dealers dont invest in carrying 10+ in stock like 3 or 5 series. Doesn't mean the supply is limited and the demand is high. Its probably the opposite, hence you should be paying invoice or a little over invoice for this. Whoever is paying sticker for one today is getting ripped...

Has nothing to do if its unique..

I easily found several offers CLOSE OR BELOW original invoice (before incentives) by clicking the get a quote page from the BMWUSA webpage then finding the lowest response and asking them to match my best offer..

my local dealer matched my best offer..
