Playing DVD's
I have a 2013 X5 and tried to play a video DVD yesterday with no success.
The car seems to recognise that it's a video DVD as it shows video options on the options button. However it wont play the dvd, it just sits with a black screen. Is there something I need to enable in coding etc or should it just work? Anyone else had this issue? Cheers |

Car went in Monday, got it back yesterday.
They replaced the cic module, and told me it was finished. I got in the car outside the dealers and tested it, not working. Went straight back in there, complained, and they said they need to escalate it to BMW Germany. So the jury is still out. |

It always takes me a few tries to get the DVD to play also. Just pressing "play" does not just make the DVD to play. It's a few shoves of the iDrive to the right, a few tries by pressing "play", then waiting for a bit etc. before it starts playing. Never any error messages though, just slow slow slow.
