BMW Performance parts
Will be posting some before and after pics of my 1st stage BMW Performance conversion next week. Car goes in Tuesday to bodyshop for fitting of black kidneys, rear bootlid spoiler and the rear window side slats. Am also adding CF wing mirrors and Harman black metal pedal kit as a bit of a pimping up! CF roof will follow if I am happy enough with the mirrors.
Plan is to get the Performance front spoiler and rear apron as and when they become available. 50i exhaust tips should be with me week after as they are shipping direct from germany. (Mine is Alpine White 40d) |

I have the performance spoiler on an alpine white and love it,
fitted the grilles today though and thought they looked too in your face so have sent them to the bodyshop to be colour coded on the surrounds Also waiting on delivery of performance alloys |

Do you mean chrome edges with black slats m8?
The wheels are a little pricey for me. May also get my bodyshop to spray up the current rear underbody section (the one in grey on the standard car) for effect. |

Where'd you get the black centre bumper grilles m8? I'm probably getting my rear diffuser section (grey on standard car) sprayed white too. Will check out the front kidneys and instruct bodyshop to spray edges of those white if they look too 'in ya face'. Good thing is I can trust them to make that call on my behalf so saves time ;-)
Pics of your car??!!?? :-) |

Woohoo my exhaust tips & trim and mudflaps turned up this morning, so they can come with me to the bodyshop today
There must be a re-engineered tips upgrade kit for the X6 diesels now (to take you to 50i tips) as mine is different to the kit pictured on Realoem: http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...32&hg=18&fg=95 Mine: http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c6...9/IMG_1696.jpg As you can see, there is no Part 1 sleeve now, and a mounting bracket has been added. Additionally there is no Part 4 or 5 pipe coming off the back as per OEM pics. Pics of the entire upgrade to follow, hopefully by Friday. |

Pimped my ride:
http://s25.photobucket.com/albums/c60/snipez999/ Am really happy with the results. The rear bumper cover is purely there as protection, to stop my golf gear from scratching the bumper. May get it sprayed white - what do people think? Also the underbody grey 'diffuser' section was left untouched as I am contemplating having it sprayed black. The kidneys look great to me so will remain stock black. CF mirror covers can't really be seen in the pic but they are spot on. Look really good and not at all out of place. Have the CF wheel centres also and am probably going to switch over the bonnet roundal (now in black & white) for a CF one. The Hamann pedals are a nice addition too. Though the footrest was not an exact fit (maybe made for LHD car) and had to be shaped a little. |
