X6 rear seats into X5M. Or X5 seat leather into X5m cushions.

Folks - wondering if it's direct swap between e71 rear seats into an e70 x5M? I know the x6 is a two-seater in the rear and I'd be losing the center seat. I'm ok with that. I also know the parts numbers for the x6 rear differ from the x5m. Just would like to know if the outer dimensions are the same, so I could swap an x6 interior into an x5m.

Another option could replacing the x5m leather covers with those from a regular X5. According to realoem, the X5 and X5m don't share the same leather cover part numbers. Not sure if this means the covers aren't compatible or if the x5m color options couldn't be had in an x5.

I want to switch to non-perforated saddle brown.

Thoughts/experience is welcomed
