New owner of a X6 5.0i!

Hey guys, how's it going? This is my first post after I just picked up my 2009 X6 5.0i last night. It had 37000 miles and I got it for $40000 even basically which I thought was an awesome deal! I went from a 535i xdrive which I had tuned with a cobb accessport and this truck absolutely blows it away stock, I can't wait to tune it. I look forward to making her my own and I'm loving the pictures and ideas from this forum. Here's a quick pic I took last night enjoy!

Quick update on the truck. Got it all waxed up and detailed and I also swapped all the silver and chrome grilles to black ones. I also painted the fog lamp bezels black. I took the license plate off and painted some push clips to fill the holes (I own a body shop, comes with perks haha). I think it looks pretty good!

You need to swap those orange markers out for the silver ones!

Terrible haha. I think I'm averaging around 13-14 I do a lot of driving around town not a lot of highway

Congrats on the new truck, looks great!

Check out company called IND, they sell painted reflectors in BMW colors. You can color match the vermillion red or do silver, black, etc.

Search for "IND painted reflectors"

Excellent, thanks for the info! I see you own a Diavel, I own a '11 848 evo. I love Ducatis haha. How do you like yours?

I love the Diavel. We don't have canyons here in Florida so I felt a proper superbike would be a waste.

She's fast as hell from a dead stop and handles in ways that a bike such as the Diavel should not

I still miss my 2001 748S Monoposto (yellow with white tail) ... I love Ducatis also

Haha I hear you, I'm up near Boston Mass so a superbike here is a total waste but I try to get up to New Hampshire and enjoy the mountain roads. I would love a Diavel for a daily cruiser though they're gorgeous. I've been thinking about getting the new 1199 Panigale but I'm undecided yet, that's a lot of bike for the street.

Ah a 748S those were gorgeous bikes. I don't think Ducati has ever made an ugly bike.

1199 is gorgeous. Buddy of mine just got an 899 and that thing ... I can look at her all day.

As for no ugly Ducatis, mostly true; however, I might nominate the Paso, though

Thanks for the link that's a great thread. I saw your buddies 899, it's stunning in red but I'm partial to the white/red myself since that's what I have now. I just posted a pic see what you think!
