2008 X5 SD blowing a lot of smoke at idle and no power.

Hey people i was driving my X5 sd today just around town and when i pulled up at home i noticed smoke blow past so i restarted the car and got out and its blowing a lot of smoke so i took it for a drive around the block and it has no power until about 3500 rpm then it takes off. Anyone had a similar problem or have any ideas. The smoke was hard to tell if it was oil or fuel but smelt like diesel.

Problem is fixed i found a split vacuum hose.

I'll try get one through the week but it was the one on a tee piece around cylinder 4-5, i think it went to the pressure converter.
