Clutch Line Fittings Rusting - Anyone Have This Problem?

I've seen lots of CDV write ups but I hadn't seen this:

I have noticed that my car does not leave puddles of AC condensation everywhere like it should (I live in NC), and that it appears water does come out of my car near the transmission. Is this normal? I'm thinking it could be the root cause of my problems and don't want to button it back up until I know there's nothing else to fix.

Thanks guys.

Abe

The CDV was a pain to remove but it did eventually come off. Anybody know if this is pic is the AC condensate drain?
