X5d deleted and wondering what part/module

X5d all deleted and was doing fluid changing fluids came across this module that was unplugged. It was right in front of transfer case and had a large red wire going into it. Wanting to make sure it was supposed to be unplugged and wondering what it was. See pics. Thanks

Pretty sure that's the wire harness for the metering valve. So no you don't need it if you're deleted, you could actually remove it all together but if you ever plan on going back to stock you might as well leave it. It won't hurt anything either way.

I believe its actually part of a nox sensor which are also no longer used when deleted.
