How about a side view so we can see the face of the wheels a little better?

Awesome weight savings!

This made me curious, so I weighed my BBS wheels. Unfortunately, I was not able to weigh my wheels and tires separately, so I had to go with a combined weight for comparison.

Combined weight OEM M299 20" w/ Bridgestone RFT....82lbs front and 89.8lbs rear.
Combined weight BBS SV 22" w/ Pirelli.......................75lbs front and 76lbs rear
Combined weight Forgestar CF10 21" w/Michelin..........61.6lbs front and 65lbs rear (winner)

I was somewhat disappointed that my weight savings was not as significant as yours, although I did go from a 20" wheel to a 22" wheel...

you forgot to factor in the air in the wheels when you weight it combined, it makes a pretty significant difference. I'm pretty sure the 299M with air is closing in or even more than 100ibs

but at the same time, your BBS SV is casted, so rotary forging should be lighter. Now the real winner is a set of 1 piece forged, would like to see how a set of those compares

OP, this set actually looks much better than I would have thought it would, CF10 has never been my favorite design, but it does appears to work well here

Actually, my wheels were properly inflated and spin balanced during the weighing process.

exactly, yours were since you weighed everything together, but the numbers you are comparing to weren't since those are just the tire weight by itself plus the rim weight by itself, so your set in this comparison should be lighter, but it probably won't be as light as the forgestars

Looks good! Best place to lose weight too. Notice any difference seat of pants? I'm assuming ride is better on the Michelin PSS tires.

I'm sure there are discrepancies my numbers, especially since mine were weighed on uncertified bathroom scales!

Outstanding... Please comment on the ride of the PSS tires versus the runflats... Also, what are you lowered on?

The PSS tires are noticeably more comfortable; the only reason I bought wheels is because I wanted the tires actually. It's lowered on H&R springs.

Outstanding, thanks for the response... Is that the H&R 2" kit? It looks perfect, but I've heard a lot of complaints on the ride being bouncy. I'm so close to buying a set of the springs, just want to make sure the wife will be ok with it...

Thanks for the info. The truck looks amazing!

Yes, it is the 2" kit. The ride can be bouncy, but it depends how you set the rear links; they are adjustable. I recently raised the rear a bit and it helped the ride quite a bit.

Also, I weighed the wheels with the tires mounted and got 63.8 lbs front and 58.6 lbs rear, which is about 98 lbs saved.
