5 min. Extremely easy as long as you have a good drill bit that can go through the steel brake pedal. The rest will literally take you 2 min.

Good to know! I opened the box and saw so many screws and washers I was thinking it seemed like a headache lol. Is it legal to paint over the reflector like that? Looks cool!

Not in Germany!

The orange looks stupid so I got the replacements from IND. I can switch the orange ones back if I have to when I get back to the US.

Yes it does hang low and mine extends 25mm longer than standard. I asked Eiesenmann during the manufacturing process if they could make the tips stick out further than they normally do, because I was thinking that they wouldn't stick out much further than the stock but they already do! So I am going back on 8 JUL to have them re-do it. I'm also going to see if their is a way to hang them a bit higher too.

It sounds awesome but the cold-start function is ridiculously loud.

Looks great.
I'm trying to install the color matched reflectors but I couldn't find DIY anywhere.
If you don't mind, can you tell me how you did it?

It's super easy. There is one screw on the fender liner, the rest are rivets. Remove the screw, whic is conveniently parallel to the reflector, bend back the bumper, and stick a screwdriver in there to push in the metal clip. Then let go of the bumper and pull out the reflector while still holding the clip in. The whole process takes maybe 5 minutes tops.

Cool! thanks for the tip!
My shop was estimated 0.75 hour to replace front and over 1 hour for rear.
(Just in case, do you know how to replace the rear red ones too?)
I bought both clear and alpine white one. I'm gonna try it tonight.

No problem and apologies to the op for the thread jack. The rear depends if its a X6M or a X5M. If X5M just pull them out from the corner closest to the center of the car. Took a minute each side. Now this is not the proper way mind you, but if you don't care about your red reflectors it won't matter. There is a little tiny plastic hook that could break off on the red reflectors doing it this way. Mine didn't break, but it is a possibility.

I read somewhere on this forum you can remove those front reflectors with 2 strands of dental floss. Slide it under the corner and pull gently pops right out.

To remove the front reflectors you can use a credit card to pry it out. It's just one spring clip.
