X5M real world fuel consumption

I'm considering the X5M as a replacement for my '05 E53 X5 3.0 and was hoping to get an indication of real world fuel consumption from X5M drivers. My driving is mostly city and freeway with not much country use.

Many thanks in advance.

crappy but a lot of fun. 13.5 average is what I see. And I drive a fair amount of highway.

M5/M6/X5M/X6M are the the same as their V8 siblings (550/650/X5 4.8).

The reason being is the M cars are V8 or V10's, some with 500HP, but in normal drive mode the HP is reduce down to the basic V8 HP rating.

However, if you take a car like an M6 and put in in sport mode and drive agreesively, you will be down around 5MPG.

Garage List
I have been driving moderately around town and getting between 10.5 and 11 MPG. New though with only about 500 miles on it so far, maybe it will improve a little?
