What is the mileage of your X6?

Can you guys share how many miles are on the clock of your X6 and what, if any major repairs you've done.
I plan to keep my X6 for a long time and helps to know what I am getting into.

2012 x6 5.0 @ 36K and only a fuel pressure pump failed.I have noticed the odd engine stoppage usually just after start and turning the steering wheel - bizarre but also happened on a X5 I had due to a tighter than warranted wiring harness.

Other than that - OEM performance plastic body parts don't stay in place. Very poorly designed clips.

2011 X6 M at over 82.000 miles.
Tires replaced on average every 25 000 miles (currently fourth set).
Spark plugs every 36.000. Replacing spark plugs makes difference in power output.
Oil change every 15.000. I am adding about 1.5 quarts of oil between oil changes.

Only two minor problems so far:
at 29.000 fuel tank leakage diagnostic module replaced
at 51.000 clamps on turbo charger pipes due to low boost pressure replaced

No trim rattles. Drives great

Wow -- that's pretty impressive performance and reliability over all those miles. I have about 23K and doing fine. Had one issue that the dealer fixed right away at 21K (vacuum problem in engine), but it's been fault-free and fun-filled otherwise.

64,000KM on mine, only had it a few months. Just started having a problem of the right rear corner dropping down sometimes when parked. Comes back up level as soon as it's driven. Yesterday, both rear corners dropped down low but it seems intermittent.

I presume its some kind of self levelling fault. Off to google I go.

To follow up on my post, problem was a faulty air suspension strut. Replaced both sides and all good.

58k 09 X6 5.0 V8 - transmission required replacement
95k 11 X6M V8 - transmission requires replacement

Watch our for this problem. It will cost you over $10k to get it replaced at a BMW dealership. Seems like it can go at any time ...

2013 X6M
21.5k miles

Only issues have been clicking noise from front suspension and mpg meter not working.

Control arm replaced and suspension issue fixed.
Mpg meter haven't dealt with yet.

My car thinks she gets 40mpg (was 99.9mpg for a while).
It's actually kind of funny.

Drinks a quart of oil around every 5-7k miles.

2012 X6 35i with 41k miles to date. No issues to report, but the warranty's expiring and I don't want to spend the $6k for an extended warranty. Car is from Canada and we imported it into the states for use when we come down to Florida (approx. 100 days/year). We usually rack up about 5000 miles per year.

I hope my choice to not buy the warranty doesn't bite me in the ass, but it's kinda hard to justify $6k US for something we barely use...

Plastic breather hose cracked. $20 part but replaced under warranty. That's it other than oil and tire changes! I drive it pretty hard. Maybe I should do the plugs.

84 000kms with a tune

-Change my oil every 12500 kms,
-Had injectors and spark plugs changed due to lugging
-replaced cracked breather tubes for turbos
-stereo amplifier replaced due to lost all sound
-Air conditioner condenser changed due to excessive noise
-Because of above glove box replaced
-Rear main seal on tranny replaced due to leak

Aside from above which was all warranty it has been an awesome ride, still love it, and love launching away from fast cars lol

'09 X6 35D 83,263 miles. Timing chain broke last thursday with a big thud, while driving at 40 MPH. No other changes since purchase, beside some gaskets and O rings. Transmission errors in the past year and particle filter clogged. Dealer asked 12,500 USD for a new engine.

2013 X6M - Alpine White

Bought with 22,500 miles in 7/2015 and now has 23,800. No issues to report since purchased however I've only put 1300 miles on the car due to being away on business most of the time.
