LUX v3 h8 X6

So i see pictures all around of how great lux v3's are...

but is it just me, or it doesnt look as bright in person, night or daytime... or is it just the angles viewing it at? The inner ring looks okay, but the outer ring doesnt light up as much.

I've installed these and not really that impressed.. is there some coding that would make it alot brighter?

It's the viewing angle problem.
It's only bright when looked straight on, especially the outside ring.

No coding can help.
That's how the housing is designed.

I bought cree led bulb 360 from idjmtoys.... And they are even worse. I think i might just get the alpine xenon kit... That seems to be the brightest solution.

I never heard that. Is there a member on this board that has the alpine kit that can tell us about it?

couple of G's I think - its the housing with full LED option, OEM.

The Lux is the best you are going to get at that price point.

I do have the Lux H8 V3's also installed, if you turn OFF the auto light feauture, they will gain some strenght against having that feature ON
