Help!! Shaking steering wheel on acceleration
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com However recently we've been experiencing the steering wheel shakes violently during medium to strong acceleration. I've checked all the bushing and they seem to be in good shape. Before I bring it to the shop or do it myself, I want to get some feed back from you guys what to expect and to see if anyone ran in to this problem before. Thanks, tilua |

It's very difficult to diagnose on the internet. I would start with axles/CV joints. Next upper and lower ball joints, then idler arm, tie rods. If they are all good, I would check rotors, maybe check for a bad motor mount.
I am sorry that this is a vague answer. I just wanted to give you the order that I would start to look at things. |
