No F30 has FRM. This is the lighting module in other Fxx cars like the requester's F10.

Lighting in F30 is FEM_BODY for the front and REM for the rear.

The Flashing Brake Force Display on the F30 in FEM_BODY is also a bit different:

FEM_ BODY / 3060 / ESS_AKTIVIERBARER_AUSGANG

Change to bremslicht_blinkend

I don't know if there is an F30 code to allow for car to reverse with door open; I don't have it. Anyone?

PM sent.

It is not fail safe. You can screw things up, but if you follow the instructions, you should be fine.

Nice. I thought FH_TUERAUF_STOP_MAUT only enabled the windows to auto-up with the door open. I have not actually tried reversing with the door open yet!

Hi

Is there a way to make the roof open itsekf without pulling the trigger during the whole process? Is it possible to make it open if I press the unlock button on the remote 3 times and close it with 3x lock...

Thanks

No, it is not possible. The button needs to be held the whole time.

Does anyone know how to code to turn on the white dashboard instrument lights to illuminate during the day before turning orange when it gets dark ? I miss this from my F11.

Hi guys, i have a 2012 F30 CIC with NA premium 2014-2 map updated version. Recently experiencing some problems with navigation, here is the story: everything was fine after updated map, with no problem on routing and rerouting. After coding bmw online and updated service, (not sure this is the reason cause navi problem or not) the navigation works fine when not routing, however, the map will frozen when destination set, both frozen on CIC and HUD, only the map and direction on HUD will frozen, you can still zoom in and out, or you can option right, and check last destination left, but nothing will change the map, and anything else is fine. after a while the CIC will reboots itself and will ask you resuming or stop routing, when resuming, it will repeat the loop where cic keeps rebooting; when stop routing, the map will show the position where the map was frozen instead of current position(because i am driving and testing the map), and it will be back to current position after while. Tried reverse bmw online coding, and seems not working. Does anybody had the same or simular issue?

Thanks

ASP_BEIKLAPPEN_BEI_KOMFORTSCHLIESSEN
new:aktiv (werte = 01)
original:nichtaktiv (werte = 0)
Close mirrors during Comfort Access closing (needs _FB for keyfob or _PA for doo

Looking at the cheat sheet for Closing mirrors, what does it mean "needs_FB for keyfob"?

Am I to add FB to code?...so werte= 01 FB?

I am still waiting for my cable, but I want to be prepared when Im ready to code

By the way much props for this great thread!

Thank you!

F30 NCD files

I am about to do 544 cruise control retrofit on my 316i F30.

I would like to compare the FDL code that will be change by VO code in advance, so I would like to have a copy of FEM, kombi, ICM CAFD Ncd files from someone who got F30 with 544 option.

Thanks

Moko

It means that in addition to ASP_BEIKLAPPEN_BEI_KOMFORTSCHLIESSEN, you need to code the following:

FEM_BODY => KOMFORTSCHLIESSUNG_FB = aktiv (for Fob)
FEM_BODY => KOMFORTSCHLIESSUNG_PA = aktiv (for Comfort Access)

^ FEM_BODY => KOMFORTSCHLIESSUNG_PA = aktiv

I noticed that is now default on all 2014 models or any car that is on 51.1 or higher (including my own). The only one that needs to be coded is the FB one.

I think you just need to add 610 to your VO and assuming that you see HUD now on your SVT, you will need to VO code the following ECU's.

HU_CIC
HUD
KOMBI

Is that correct Shawn?

I've seen this exact same thing when I tried coding the JUNCTION_VIEW_HUD on my CIC. When navigating a route, the map would freeze along with the HUD map info display and then the head unit would reboot.

I turned JUNCTION_VIEW_HUD off and everything went back to normal.

If you didn't set this coding value, then I would just VO code your HU_CIC back to factory defaults and see if that clears the issue.
