2007 X5 water leak inside passenger rear floor

I'm hearing that the X5's were bad for panoramic sunroof drain channels and tubes getting clogged. I'm getting a wet passenger rear floor during heavy rain or car wash. Does anyone have the same experience, and what was the fix? Where are these channels supposed to drain so I can try unplug them? Thanks in advance!

Had The Same Problem 2 Months Ago

So I had the same problem 2 months ago. Apparently there some tubes that run through the A-PILLAR to the sun-roof. The tubes can get clogged or sometimes may even dislocate from the sunroof pipe outlets. When that happens, it can be very frustrating and damaging. First of all, you may have to determine whether the tubes are clogged with debris or whether they have dislocated from the sunroof outlets.
I didn't have to do it on my own, I had the dealership deal with it because of the complexity of removing the inside A-PILLAR moldings. Care must be taken to remove those A-PILLAR moldings(cover) in the car, they are breakable.

Check out:

Hope this helps!
