2011 X5 35i - H&R springs fitted on 22s
I have just taken delivery of a 2011 X5 35i in a titanium silver. On the first night I fitted the guard extensions and a set of matte black grilles. The next morning I drove to the tire shop and fitted a set of 22x10 and 22x11 wheels and 335/25/22 and 295/30/22 Pirellis.
I have also ordered a set of H&R 40mm springs and the BMW performance body kit is off being sprayed. Still to order is the BMS Stage 1, BMS Air Filter, Fog light LEDs, Interior LEDs. Last edited by v0lume; 07-14-2015 at 08:38 PM.. |

Looks very clean, like the new rims compared to the stock. Well done!

Looks a lot better with the new wheels. Be careful not to make it look too "busy" with tons of accessories. Taking off the window visors and color coding all the plastics is probably going to be a good start.

I went with an genuine BMW kit. I looked around for ages and managed to find a genuine kit out of Australia for a 1/3 of the price I could get it for in New Zealand. My mate was traveling across and brought it back for me so was a win win.
List price in NZ was $1350USD vs $460.00USD out of Australia. Had a local body shop spray it for $200USD and I fitted it myself using the instructions below. There were a few steps missed out but I worked them out pretty quickly - http://www.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=692045 |

Clean mods add a nice improvement over stock... great job!
Are you still considering removing the window vents? |

Yeah get rid of them...they're gross. Other than that the car looks good.

I was gonna say the same thing! Either an M Sport or X5M wheel, though this X5 doesn't have Sport or M Sport package so the paddles wouldn't work (not that they're even that great). Still the wheel would look and feel much better.
Looks exponentially better w/o the rain visors...well done |

I did a DIY spring change last night, all in all it went pretty smooth - 3 hours front and 2 hours rear. Will get better shots this weekend - took it for a drive and man it handles sooooooo much better than before.
