F12 M6 wheels on X5M - Opinions please
This is a feasibility question. I have a set of factory M6 20" 343M wheels, which are only 0.5 inches narrower than the X5M wheels, both front and back. I know the offsets are different, but I checked and clearance should be fine. Assuming I use a center bore adapter for the rear (different center bore size), what are your thoughts on these forged rims made for an M6 being able to handle the extra weight of the X5M?

I think the wheels will be able to handle the extra weight just fine. I would be worried about the fitment and how they will look. What are the specs on those wheels?

Those will fit offset wise, and will actually sit a bit further out. I use the below site when doing wheel fitment research, great tool. I believe the fronts are the 74.1 hub bore where you’ll need an adapter/spacer.
Post some pictures up if you end up installing them, should look good! https://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Whee...et-Calculator#

Thanks for the help! Yeah, it's the fronts that need the adapter, not the rear as I originally had stated. Good catch.
I'll post pics once I finally get around to doing it. |
