Drivers Seat Motor

Hi all, 2007 BMW X5 Drivers seat motor keeps "running" at start-up but does nothing. I'm assuming its trying to adjust the side bolsters (which work on the passenger side). It will stop after a minute or so, or if I push any switch. has anyone encountered this before? Thank You, and kind regards!
