22 inch wheels spacer questions and answers
Just installed set of 22 inch wheels, size are 22x10 et 40 front and 22x11 et 35 rear, tires are 295 30 22 front and 335 25 22 rear, I had asked several questions about spacers and received great feedback but no answers, i bought 20 mm hub-centric spacers rear and 10 mm spacers front, bought the whole set off ebay with longer bolts and it looks perfect, they fit just shy of flush with the rear and front wheel wells, they are on a 2013 x5m, i will post pics soon, what a difference, now that the track has been changed should i get a 4 wheel alignment? hope this helps someone, thanks

Hey - I have the same question - I bought 22 inch forgestar wheels and the wheels are not flush to the arches. We did do an alignment after the fact.
Mine are 22X10.5 and 22X12 Forgestar F14's in Gunmetal 22x10.5 and 22x12, +34 offset on all four 295/30ZR-22 Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico XL in the front 335/25ZR-22 Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico XL in the back *** The rear ones are not flush to the outside (2011 X5 M sport package) but the front ones are. What is the name of the seller on ebay you used? Last edited by muddycharles; 09-11-2014 at 09:01 AM.. |

I can verify this seller as I've purchased other stuff for my E46 from them. Good seller with good parts...
Now, OP, you can't go claiming how awesome the new wheels look without posting pics...

spacer answer

By your specs compared to mine, your wheel is 1 inch wider then my rear wheel, 1 inch is apprx 25 mm, so my wheel is 1 inch less in width but almost exact same offset, so 1 in diff in wheels equals 1/2 on each side, so a 12-15 mm spacer i would use 12mm to bring your wheel same as mine, mine looks IMO perfect, ill get pics on but its been raining here all week, anyone else can chime in but this is same info i used and mine came out great, |

I used this as a guide and it took my mechanic about 5 tries to get it right - he said it was very hard.
