Hanging Exhuast Vacuum Line? What to do

Hi,

I just recently upgraded to a performance exhaust.

The stock mufflers along with the exhaust flap was removed.

Upon inspection, I saw that the vacuum line that was originally connected to the stock exhaust flaps was just left hanging with no cover or anything.

Should I just leave the line hanging as is?
or
plug it/cover it with an object?

Thanks

Ok thanks, i will plug them as soon as possible.

I was just wondering, what will happen if it is left hanging?

Will it affect the performance/sound of the car?

I left them just hanging and a few days later I was driving my car and the check engine light came on. I took the car to the dealer and my SA told me that your vacuum lines very open and should/must be plugged.
