F15 X5M ambient lighting in an E70 X5M
Watching this a while ago and liked it due to it's subtly...
then saw these... http://www.ebay.com/itm/301582935316...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Wiring them in could he a mild headache. Just spitballing.

this is without a doubt my favourite part of the new F15s, but i don't think fitting these LED trips will look nice since there is no easy way to integrate them into the existing trim on the e70s

wonder if there is a way to replace the bulbs with an LED for e70 ambient lighting so it is not so 'subtle'? Orange ambient on black is barely noticeable. Id like something brighter.

The orange/red is used for a reason...it's not distracting to the eyes, that's why you see it used in the military.
