Just curious anyone install an aftermarket air filter?

Was looking to install one of these, any tutorials on how to install/mounting hardware?

Don't do it.

Any benefit from alleged improved flow will be more than offset by sucking in hot engine compartment air. Keep the stock cold air intake setup.

If its performance you seek, go for tune and DPs.

OEM intake system is actually built like a cold air intake. Why would you want to introduce warmer intake temps with an aftermarket intake? Just get a good performance filter like a BMC and call it done.

If you can't get a specific tune for your intake, do not do it. When dealing with a MAF based system(Which I think it is), a tune has to be performed to address scaling the MAF for the new intake.

Only a Cobb AccessPort if compatible with your year/model with a Protune would be available.
