rear view mirror tape peeling? (added pic)
on my '11 X5 the rear view mirror has black tape on the driver side peeling? what is this tape for? what harm would be caused if I remove it? thanks.
i lifted the tape and took a pic, see photo below. the underside of the black tape is WHITE with what appears a wire/antenna running through it.
