Scuffs top rear hatch bumber - what do you use ?

I have noticed that after a few trips the top of the rear bumper where the hatch closes has scuff marks. This is can be buffed out and is a result of luggage loading/unloading.

I have see the rear reversible mat (rubber one side, carpet other) that has a tail that would cover this but was wondering what other options there are. So for those that drag stuff in and out of the hatch what do you use ?

I would recommend putting some "clear bra" material on the rear bumper if scuffing is an issue.

Very easy if you use a quality brand like 3M clearshield. I pulled it from my previous vehicle after it had been on for over a year in hot Texas heat and it came off great and paint was perfect underneath

Was there any fading effect where the clear bra was?

Doesn't Autosport have those, or is that a different brand?

One of the best invesments for my X6 was the purchase of the luggage compartment cover. I have two dogs, and I surf, snowboard, and camp, and it totally saves my interior as well as the back bumper. It has a velco attachment that can reach all the way to the front seats with the back seats down.

I suggest the 3M Clear Bra...

I did the clear bra on the nose, mirrors and rear bumper, hopefully that will prevent it. Check out my pics, you can't see it, even up close.

That black on black is really cool.

Do you have a retailer or web site that sells that product?

No fading effect with the 3M paint protection.

This is the best alternative, as it protects the rubber door seals from tearing by sharp edges. & if u keep apron clean, u can lean against the bumper w/o getting ur pants dirty.
Only thing is like the rubber tray which i bought bcause they had it in stock, it covers up the tie down loops & adjustable rails !
Clear bra is hard to do on curved corner edges.
