Finishing the night at work, looked at this thread again and saw this picture I've never seen before. I've also sent Turbo Labs of America an email after watching the crazy work they did to some M3/M4 turbos.

Damn, this is Perfect!
I'm at a point where my Valve stem failure has brought to light my OE Turbos were full of oil and must be replaced. Now is the time to upgrade my Turbos and looking at the Pure stage 2 or VTTQ Stg1 option for ~5k I knew there must be a slightly better or more cost effective option available.

I have upgraded everything else except the transmission but I'll be good with 750awhp/650ft lbs Tq

I think you're being a bit ambitious.

According to ZF, the box is only good for 600-650nm input torque, and you're hoping to put 880 (at the wheels too) through it?

Yes sir!

as long as she survives the Dyno tuning session she will be fine.

in the meantime I'll source a used ZF Tranny and send to Simon or order his kit and have the best in Texas build it for me.

I Don't drag race her nor drive her like i do my 900whp turbo E46 M3 but she will tow my turbo M3 to her events a few times a year

@m5james
Where are you now with your X5m?
It's funny how many research items I've been digging at where you've been commenting.
Thankfully you keep the same user name on these boards!
I've just hit you on 4 different google searches on some random searches.
I just bought a completely stock 2012 and I am already all over the place in my research.
What are you running now setup wise, what's your power and what troubles have you had.
This thread was a great read, I've got no problem rebuilding a turbo myself.
Curious as to where you ended up, what tune you are running etc.

Sorry, I've been off the forums for a while...GF got into a fender bender driving the X5M, shortly after it was down for like 6+ months because of a trans failure, bought 3 more cars, sold 2 others (we're up to 8 total vehicles now), life, work, etc etc...but I'm on day 2 of having it back on the road again!! Time to play catch up!! Bumping this thread to see if anyone's ever done these wheels yet? While I don't have WG rattles, I'm back to getting reduced power warnings and my JB4 is adjusted out as far as it can to control the WG.
