So what if you don't have a android based system ?

Do I ship my ECU somewhere ? Mines an early build 2012.

Yes, it's the new revised map. it's way smoother than v24. turbo kicks in very quick. I'm not sure about linear throttle, i've been meaning to ask but i think it has it, the throttle feels more linear now. it's more controllable and feels more natural.

if anyone has been on the fence with tuning, yall have to come on board now with v.90. it's a mad house. both my cars(e90/e70) just feels like a big NA V8 now. instant torque, great response and the engine is so much more predictable than stock.

OTS maps are still on modified stockish throttle mapping.

I don't know if this matters to you guys but just starting up the vehicle is super smooth now. I felt it wasn't previously (not saying it's tune related) but after flashing to the v0.90 its smooth like butter
Glad you're enjoying it

There are plenty of cheap devices out there that will work just fine. Doesn't always have to be a tablet. I use phones because I don't want a huge tablet spring in My cars

As Justin@MHD mentioned there are plenty of cheap tablets, I got mine off Amazon for $40 bucks if that. Or you can simply just use your phone as mentioned above. Personally, it's worth getting the tablet because you can easily see things in a bigger form. Plus it was super cheap and it works perfectly fine.

Originally flashing to one of the OTS maps is roughly 35mins give or take, it does recommend a battery charger. However, if your battery is strong like mine you're fine without. I've been doing so for YEARS with MHD without a battery charger with ZERO issues. Updating the OTS maps usually take 2-4 mins with zero issues once again.

I'd grade MHD from the tunes, customer service and information provided on a 1-10 scale a 9 honestly Why not a 10? Because nothing is perfect and they're ALWAYS improving maps hence why we always flash to the newest versions given

Just got it done last night!! Smooth delivery, throttle response seems better slightly. Also noticed that there is a very slight low bass sound form my exhaust which wasn't there before! I will go crazy if there is an option to make it sound deeper man!! Haha
Feels NA when driven but power is available.. but also noticed comparing this to previous version, previous map feels like there is ample back pressure, if u press down on pedals, u will release the available power, current feels like smooth but limited power so when u step down you've gotta wait for the power to come on.. lol! I guess the sweet spot is in between?
But I like this map as well.. different feeling altogether!!!

Awesome you got the newest version of the tune last night. I figure once our vehicles are fully adjusted to the new tune we will see more and more out of our cars. I'll be doing some WOTs before the weekend and hopefully I'll have some logs to share on the forum Saturday/Sunday give or take since I feel by then I should be almost adjusted to the tune

Silly question. How do I get the revised map on my MHD app? I don't see an option to download revised maps. Do I have to uninstall and reinstall the MHD app? Sorry for the dense question but I must have missed it.

As Justin stated just go to google app store and it'll show for the N55 app an update option. Very fast and straight forward after it's completed man I was doing a couple test hits last night. And wow!!! This adaptability of the car with this tune is insane. I did a 20 roll in DS mode and was slung back into my seat the entire way

Nicely done MHD/Justin

Guys, what's the process of logging? Anyone tried it for a custom map? Is the process difficult or requires long distance of speed?

when i do custom maps, here is what i typically ask for unless im looking for something specific...

For the logs i need you to do the following:

1. normal driving acceleration from a dead stop up to cruising speed and cuise for like 20-30 seconds.
2. 3rd and a 4th gear WOT pull from 2800-3000rpms start point up to about 6500rpms
3. a third gear shifting into 4th gear WOT pull. starting in 3rd gear around 3500rpms or so. once in 4th hold WOT for about 3-4 seconds and let off. (this checks post shift timing recovery).

Please include the following parameters in yours logs:

Accel Ped. Pos.
Amb pressure
Berechnetes Ist-Moment in der Funktionsüberwachung
Boost
Boost target
Boost Target Ex
Fuel mode
Gear
IAT
Lambda bank 1
LTFT
MAF
Oil temp
Rail pressure mean
RPM
STFT 1
Throttle Position
Timing Cyl. 1
Torque act. clutch
WGDC
Boost setpoint factor
Cyl1 Timing Cor
Cyl2 Timing Cor
Cyl3 Timing Cor
Cyl4 Timing Cor
Cyl5 Timing Cor
Cyl6 Timing Cor
Load actual
Load req
MAF req. WGDC
WGDC After PID
WGDC base

Thanks for the info Justin, I might have overlooked this simple question yet I'll ask again. Just for a regular log, we're just doing a 3rd gear WOT and letting off at 6200 rpms right? No 4th gear shift?

Thanks Justin! Now's the time to hunt a spot to get this done! My side of the law, if caught it's either suspensions of license or jail time!

Anyone here did the Golf Tee mod via the trunk connector? Made an attempt today, couldn't find the connector! Heard 2011 E70 can't do it via the connector but only the option of zip ties!

4th gear shift helps tell a lot about boost and timing behavior. So it's definitely recommended to have at least one log with a 3rd into 4th.

Cometely understand. 3rd hear is fine. And I always inform people to do 4th gear pulls at their discretion. 4th pulls are actually better for tuning. More data so you can see the full picture. But I also know speeds in 4th gear are high. So 3rd gear is fine. But a 3rd in 4th and hold for a few seconds (not fully to redline) is needed.
