Alpine white vs platinum bronze

Hi forum,
I purchased a used 2011 35d last October and I love it. I only wish I could have chose the options in it. Browsing last week I found another used 2011 with 6k miles less with everything I wanted in it but the sport package (I don't have it on mine either) the only thing that has me thinking is the color, mine is Alpine White and it is hard to keep clean, but it looks good when is clean. The one I'm looking at is Platinum Bronze... Any feedback about this color, how is it in the sun? How does it hold with time? How about the value? I can sell a white card really fast, not sure about this color.
Many thanks,

Longhorn 35d

What extra does the other X5 have that you don't have in your current X5? Alpine White definitely beats Platinum Bronze...

What the other X5 has that mine does not have:
Hi-Fi Stereo
Sat Radio
Comfort Access
Rear Climate and sunshades
Side view cameras
What mine has that the other X5 does not have:
Running boards
Heated steering wheel
Headlight washers

I like the comfort access but my wife does not, believe me she has her reasons. And I can live without the shades, can buy a $20 set at Wal-Mart... but the stereo and the rear climate... I like the white but I like the options too...
I can keep my white one until I find another white one with the options I want.
Thanks,

I assume you're talking about the Premium Stereo, right? Comfort Access is indeed a nice to have. Why does your wife not like it?

My mother is the same way. She has comfort access on her BMW but refuses to use it.

After having comfort access all the way.

Not sure it's worth taking the hit though. Just be happy with your current x5d and buy a new one when the next gen is out.
