Anyone running H&R sports springs?
I've used H&R springs and KW coilovers in the past but on cars..
Any good on the X5? ride height/quality? Pics would be great.. |

I had the 1" on my X5M and couldn't handle the ride. It was way too bouncy and jarring. I know, "To each his own." And some are okay with the H&R setup - it works for them.
But for me, I only lasted 4 days before I had to go back to stock. It was an expensive experiment. My experience was that you're giving up a lot of comfort to achieve style and in my opinion it wasn't a worthwhile the tradeoff. Just my .02 |

I have the H&R 1.2" with lowering links in the rear (Because self-leveling), set to 30-1/4" from the ground to the top of the wheel arch. I am also riding on 22" wheels with Pirelli Scorpions in place of the standard 20" wheels with RFTs. This setup rides better /smoother than stock, yet also has less body roll and feels more planted in the turns.
Mine is not bouncy at all. I feel like it is perfect! Some say that if you are experiencing bounce that you should raise the rear slightly to give the vehicle a bit of rake. |

I'm definitely not trying to discourage you from putting H&Rs on your truck. I realize that everybody has a different threshold for what is acceptable and I just wanted to share my experience with the springs. Although the truck looked great, it was just too harsh and jarring to drive.
The only real way to settle it is to do what I did and try them. |

Ride is prefect and look is awesome!

I have the full Dinan suspension kit on my X6M. Couldn't be happier. About a 1.2" drop after it settles. Best off all it retains the factory EDC. I have summer 22" with Pirelli 335's on rear and 295's up front.
