Installed my Lux angel eyes yesterday. First trick is to have very small hands. Pax side took a while but once I bothered to note that the 3 tangs were slightly different sizes it was relatively easy even with my big hands.
Well worth the install- looks far better. |

1 quick question that arises then....
is HID or the latest Lux brighter ?? surely HID (alpine or other brand for H8 BMW Corona Rings) has gotta be brighter ??? |

HID is brighter, however is is uneven lighting and the inner ring becomes blinding. with the LUX Angel Eyes the two rings are almost even brightness which is more appealing.

If OEM LED is 10, then Lux is 3-4
OEM can be seen on very bright sunlight from hundreds of yards away (judging by X5, X3, 5 series) They are very-very bright Lux is kind of like old halos in brightness, just white in color Direct comparison i had when my father's new X3 was next to my X6 with Lux |

This has nothing to do with LUX. This is how the rings are designed. The new LCI rings do not have this problem. The light is distributed very evenly. Last edited by zerrantoss; 02-23-2012 at 01:37 PM.. |
