Jipettersen,
Hey buddy. Can you check again what tire size you are running on those 22x10's? I re-read the post and am confused with which size you are running. Thanks again.

Yes correct. You see in the table that the rear wheels are 2-3 % bigger in circumference than front. But it still inside the spec. No DTC light.

No i have not tried my RFT (20"). But my buddy tried them on his 30d X6 but he was not satisfied. Claim they are to firm and the car is not stable to drive on our bad roads here in Norway. He felt that the car was moving a lot sideways.

In winter i use Pirelli Ice & Snow 275 / 40 ? - 20 front and rear. Works good on this car.

I've heard of someone running 285/35-22's in front and 315/30-22's in the rear and was wondering if that is possible?

Yes it will work.. Its only 1,4% diff front/rear.

But you will have a high gearing on this setup.

What does that mean? Will it mess up the transmission?

Jipettersen,
I meant Norway buddy. Beautiful pictures at the marina there. I need to get up to Norway and the other scandinavian countries. Always been a dream of mine.
