Peugeot 508 - the heaviest and most rigid car doors I've ever witnessed and experienced in my life (seriously these things are as heavy as bank vault doors).

Our family owned a Peugeot 605 when I was young. You are correct in that a the doors felt like they felt like bank vault doors!!

A popular 90's hot hatch in europe.
167HP and a close ratio 6 speed gearbox.

I think most hot hatches weren't sold in the US...

That's awesome! We also owned a Venetian Green 306 hatch at one point. I've never seen the GTI in real life before :-)

That Peugeot took a LOT from Audi it seems interior wise. Even exterior styling similar to passat
