So this is a good question - will they make a new set for the M3...?

And you tested the car, it is better handling than on stock springs? How does it feel in real life? Better than stock or not?

Tnx, Jack.

If you are doing the measurment yourself, it is likely the rear fender of the f80 that is 1mm lower, not actually suspension height. Like others said, 1mm is essentially the size of a few strands of hair.

Thanks Tom. Since the M4 specific springs drop the back more than the front, I would think it would look odd on the M3 since the factory tire/fender gap for the M3 is much larger in the front then rear.

So if the M3 spring is the same as the M4 springs, would you recommend the 335/435 springs? It seems like the M4 springs will only exacerbate the M3's fender gap in-balance.
Is that correct? Every where I read it says the m4 specific springs drop the front 1.3 and the back 1.2.

You might be right. I should have been more clear...was referring to the m4 specific springs dropping the back more so than the 435/335 springs drop the back. Since both drop the front the same, the m4 has a greater rear drop bias compared to the 435/335 springs.

Ok got ya! Yea I honestly prefer the rake you get with the 435 springs. I'm most likely going with
Those but I have an m4 so I'm not too sure on the differences with
The m3. Def. have to compare some photos

I had the H&R Sport's installed yesterday at EAS and the rake/drop on my M4 is absolutely FLUSH. Looks so perfect, it's ridiculous. EAS is posting pics today as far as I know...YMB/SS with Black 19's, looks amazing. Wayyyyy better than the M4 springs IMO

Running a 12mm/15mm combo setup. I'll get the spacer reference thread updated soon with the info.

Maybe it's just pics, but drop on YMB M4 looks more subtle than drops on white M4 posted few pages back.

Which white M4? One with ZCPs or 437s?

This. It must be shadow that is playing trick on my eyes.

From what I understand the white M4 was dropped with H&R Sport Springs for the F8X.
The YMB M4 was dropped with H&R Sport Springs for the F32 435 which is why its not as low.

according to this thread at least: http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...0&postcount=50

The drop on the blue M4 looks so much better than the white M4, which is too low in the back IMO.

Spacers and lighting can make a difference. This is the same car with more agressive spacers and less shadow on the wheels. Taking some of the neg camber out of the rear after lowering helps also. I think the M4 springs with proper alignment and wheel offset looks very good. The less aggressive 435 springs also look good IMO.

Strictly a matter of preference. See the pictures in this post for reference.

Can you get away with a 15/18mm spacer combo with no rubbing with the 435 springs?

It's a bit aggressive, I would recommend sticking with the 15/12mm to be on the safe side.
