Radiator fan
Hi everyone, so i’v been wrking on my e70 i had a starter replaced few months ago,once done my battery died , got a new battery registered to the car and everything, long story short my radiator fan is not kicking inn so i got a new relay hoping that would solve the issue butt no, however the only way my fan will run for few seconds is if disconnected and connected right away it runs for a few seconds then it dies , anyone has any idea what coukd be wrong?

Does it need to run? How do your engine temps look? It should only run when needed.

If your disconnect the fan and reconnect it and it runs for a bit seems like its getting the signal. I would check the connections at the fan side, see if you can clean it best you can and maybe add some dielectric grease.
Same error code as the thread below, it was fixed by cleaning the connector at the fan. https://www.e90post.com/forums/showt...FIgnition%20ON.

So i was out of the states for a while didn’t get a chance to work the issue however I disconnected my temperature sensor and fan run full blast, that way i was able to bring the car home, that means there is an issue with the signa going to the fan am assuming , and yes my bad it is celcious .
