I had the Dinan Stage II installed at Nashville BMW. I drove home to Huntsville, AL and really didn't notice a big difference. Not sure i believe the stated 501 HP and 585 ftlb torque they say it makes with the Stage II. It was a bit pricey......total was $4100 after taxes and $299 labor for install. They had another X6 50i with the Stage IV which includes the exhaust upgrade and it sounded really nice. Not too loud but a much deeper tone.

I have the ESS tune and Meisterschaft GTS on mine and it is much quicker than when I bought it. I havent taken it to a dyno shop to actually get some real world figures but driving impressions are definitely worth it. Im more than happy with the results so far, downpipes will be installed down the road as well.

I had the first Dinan 50i in Michigan and the first exhaust made. Had it now for about 2 years and 65k miles with zero problems. Yes it was expensive a about 7k total but it was the closest thing to a third row X5M. Go for it you cannot go wrong. BTW I am turning mine in and replacing her with a B7. Wife is tired of the SUV.
Peace
