Your seat belt isn't on and its really cold outside. Wait, did you mean the check engine light? Could be anything. Is your gas cap is loose?

Here is what I want to know. Why does the fuel indicator show which side the gas cap is on when displaying the distance left on the tank, but not when showing the average fuel economy?

+1000

I apologize for going off-topic.

I have had to repair MANY faces and bodies torn up from the person being thrown around their vehicle like a rag doll, as the result of a crash. Keep in mind that I'm talking about the survivors! Unbelted drivers are often ejected, and killed, during vehicle rollovers.

For the survivors, many times the injuries would have been much less extensive if they'd been using a seatbelt. The decision to use/not use is yours, but please take my friendly advice and use one.

the check engine sign comes on we there is a problem with the air-intake sensor or the exhaust system has a lot carbon monoxide stuck in it.
