How about just going to a good local exhaust shop and have them fabricate one from scratch. Avoid the BMW tax.
I had this done on a Corvette, from the headers back in 2001 and it cost me less than $800 for the mufflers (Magnaflows) pipe and tips and install. $5K for an exhaust is insanity unless it's for a Veyron
