Winter Set Up
Just picked up a 2013 X5 with the Sports Package with Y spoke 20' rims. I am located in NJ and it is freezing. The tires are for the summer and I am looking for a winter set. My buddy has a set but not sure if they would fit on my car. They came from a 2004 X5 the size is 285/45 r19 107h, that's what's on the tire. Does anyone know if they will work?

Forget the tires, I don't believe the wheels will fit your hubs. You may be able to find an adapter to make them work.

Right. The hubs on the old X5s are smaller, so they won't fit your X5, and the only way to get them to fit is to bore out the wheels themselves.

I was actually looking for this same thing, since I want to run X5M wheels on my non-M X5, however they do not exist. Sadly boring the 72.6mm hub to 74.1mm is the only option.

The custom spacer/adapters from UpstateX5M's link seem to be the only viable option (aside from wheel boring) to get M wheels to fit on the non-M or E53 wheels to fit on the E70. The adapters in the Amazon link (as well as the adapters H&R makes) are for the 5 Series which has a smaller size wheel bolt...and won't fit the X5. You can check with Turner, and they will tell you the same thing. There was one guy who ordered them anyway, and them just to be sure, and they ended up not fitting.

But, actually it looks that that website has an error. If you plug in 2013 X5 it shows as having a 72.56 hub, but it's actually 74.1. The '13 didn't change from '12 did it? |
