Or the v10 m6 I dusted last week lol

#velos

But in all seriousness, the M feels so split personality its crazy. I know this thread isn't about the M so I will keep it short, but you honestly feel like you can do anything in this car, short of getting 20mpg LOL

Sorry idk how to use the reply thing, that was to the guy you responded to Sylvan, not you, though I reckon you would agree with the statement regardless.

Ah, yes I think you're right.

I guess that's why I ended up with a 2011.

I really would have gone either a x50i or an x35i because I really wanted the M Sport package more than anything else. I'm glad that I found a 35i because the mileage is quite a bit better. The X5 will never be a race car, so didn't feel the need to get a more powerful engine.

If I want to go fast, I just ask my wife if I can drive her 135i.
Well X5M is a race car, it can dust any car when it is tuned (with software only).

To be fair, this thread is about a 35i vs. a 50i. Bringing the X5M into the discussion changes what the OP was originally asking for.

When I said the X5 is not a race car, I was speaking of the 35d/35i/50i.

haha, my 50i is still on stock software and I've seen more than a few gaping maws on the highways and biways when I dipped into the throttle for fun.

Yup. Hopefully Stage 2 will get the 50i into the 12s.

X5M run mid 12s stock.

true, I apologize for talking X5M... but the 5.0i can be a race car too if it is tuned. The 5.0i is very fast too.
