Intake Camshaft Postion Sensor Replacement Question
So I recently got a engine light thats goes and off randomly. Pulled the code and found it is P0012 (intake camshaft position sensor. I have noticed the the idle drops a bit (sub 500rpm) then bounces back, and sometimes hunts around a bit after starting before settling down. Does this sound like a bad CPS? I know it could also be vanos related.
Also, has anyone replaced the intake CPS, looks like a pretty straight forward job? Vehicle is a e70 X5 3.0si Thank you in advance for the help! |
