For sale is a kit of BMW smart opener. They include:

-Proximity/presence sensor
-kick motion sensor
-Smart opener control module

I bought these for my previous cars but never got to install them. Both are in great condition with all connectors and tabs intact. Price is $125 including shipping anywhere in continental USA.

yes, as long as you have comfort access it should work; but since E series cars didn't have smart opener as an option, you won't be able to connect the smart opener module to the CAS ecu and code it; instead you will need to buy an additional module. Custom Retrofit sells one. No coding needed in that case since the module is "talking" directly to the liftgate to open and close.
